As many as 2,000 users per day are now utilising the smart parking technology implemented by the Everest5 team in one of Warsaw’s complexes. One of the key achievements of this project is the introduction of automated algorithms integrated with the reservation system, access control system, and automatic number plate recognition. The Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) System automatically reads vehicle plates, verifies them against the reservation number, opens the barrier, and informs the user of the assigned parking space. The main objective of the implemented solution is to maximise the use of the available parking space. The system is based on automatic parking technology, where drivers hand over control of the vehicle to the system, which scans for available spaces, selects the optimal one, and parks the vehicle. This eliminates issues related to improper parking and wasted time searching for a free spot. SMART PARKING is based on advanced sensors, cameras, and algorithms that analyse the space. These components work together to efficiently manage traffic and ensure that every available space is used in the most optimal way.
