PKiN Zone B: From the Past to the Future on Its 70th Birthday!

On July 22, 2025, the Palace of Culture and Science celebrated its 70th birthday! Instead of focusing on a birthday cake, we concentrated on the reconstruction of Zone B to bring it into compliance with current fire protection regulations. We have completed work in the Goethe Hall complex and in 5 out of 8 cinema halls! In the cinema halls, we installed: We are now working in the Gagarin Hall – named after Yuri Gagarin, who visited the Palace in 1961. Upon entering, we were greeted by cracks in the plaster, so to reach the installation points, we had to dig a little deeper into the walls than originally planned. We also carried out stratigraphic studies, which revealed exactly what colors the walls have been painted over the decades. In restoring the color scheme, we take great care – each shade is selected based on precise measurements so that the final effect is as close to the original as possible. And although we didn’t celebrate the anniversary with cake, the feeling that we are adding our own brick (or new cable) to the history of this place is the best gift we could receive. Soon, we will begin work in the Warsaw Hall. Follow us to keep up with the next stages of this unique modernization!
1st Everest 5 Volleyball Tournament

The First Everest 5 Volleyball Tournament is behind us! At Everest 5, we believe that a strong team is built not only through working together but also through relationships formed outside the office. That’s why we regularly organize team-building activities – from weekend trips to sporting events. This time, we opted for some healthy competition on the court. The volleyball tournament proved to be an excellent test of teamwork, commitment, and team spirit – values that are essential to us in our everyday work! There was no shortage of thrilling rallies, powerful serves, great defensive plays, and plenty of supportive cheering. After the sports part, it was time to honor the winners: we presented medals, an MVP trophy, and small gifts. The event also featured a short speech by our President, Jacek Suchenek, who proudly emphasized that this year has been one of the best in Everest 5’s history in terms of results and goal achievement. It’s a motivating sign that the joint effort of the entire team brings tangible results – and even more reasons to celebrate together. We wrapped up the day with a barbecue and conversations lasting late into the evening, in a more relaxed yet equally valuable atmosphere. Thank you to everyone for being there and for your full commitment. We believe that initiatives like this truly strengthen the team – and we’re already planning the next one!
Innovative, proprietary solutions from Everest 5! Advanced ultrasonic sensor for museum collection protection.

“Necessity is the mother of invention” – when a challenge arises, engineers find a way to overcome it. That was exactly the case during the execution of one of our most prestigious contracts – the Museum of Polish History (Permanent Exhibition). The design of the Electronic Collection Protection System assumed the use of sensors available on the Russian market. Since no equivalent solution could be found, we decided to develop our own proprietary technology – says Krzysztof Majkowski, Contract Manager at Everest 5. Thanks to our custom-designed electronic circuit, we created a sensor fully compatible with both the alarm system and the environmental monitoring system. Tests confirmed its effectiveness in detecting breaches, the presence of unauthorized objects, and attempts to remove exhibits. Although initially developed for museum use, this solution can be applied in any space where precise monitoring of a small, enclosed area is required. Congratulations to our engineers and Polish engineering innovation! At Everest 5, we implement advanced projects in electrical, telecommunication, IT, and multimedia systems. Our ambition is to be the go-to company in the museum sector – in exhibitions and displays, as well as in the supply and security of museum display cases. So far, we have completed or are currently working on projects including: 🔗 Learn more about the Museum of Polish History project: https://lnkd.in/gjrsaCV9 Feel free to get in touch with us!
Construction of the Aquapark in Płock opened as a public-private partnership

A Public-Private Partnership (PPP) is a method of implementing public tasks based on a long-term agreement that defines the division of responsibilities and risks between the public entity and the private partner. It is in this form that, for almost 2 years, a 10,000 sq. m recreational and sports centre has been under construction on Miodowa St. in Płock, known as the Miodolanka Aquapark. The investment is the subject of a contract with Warbud under a public-private partnership (PPP), with a total cost of PLN 206 million, spread over 23 years (until 2044). Everest5 is responsible for the comprehensive implementation of the electrical and telecommunications installations. – The (PPP) formula presents a major challenge, both at the project implementation stage and during operation. The installations in the Aquapark must meet numerous technical and legal requirements to ensure safety, functionality, and energy efficiency. To ensure that the electrical and telecommunications systems operate for as long as possible, several key practices should be followed: We will keep you updated on the progress of the works. Krzysztof Majkowski on the podium of the 2nd Polish Road Cycling Championships of the Construction Industry!

Krzysztof Majkowski from Everest 5 took 2nd place overall and 1st place in his age category at the 2nd Polish Road Cycling Championships of the Construction Industry! With a time of 2:07:45.70 and an average speed of nearly 40 km/h, he covered 82.1 km of a demanding, hilly route in Podłęże near Kraków – losing to the winner by only 0.16 seconds! But although it is a fantastic sporting result, the medal was not the most important thing here. The Championships organised by the Maj Family Foundation named after Piotr Maj are above all a charitable event which, in the spirit of the slogan ‘Helping Builds’, brings together representatives of the entire construction industry with a common goal: helping those in need. ‘I didn’t let anyone snatch the second place from me this time and I crossed the finish line with great joy. And next year I’ll try to improve my result – although that’s not the most important thing in these championships’, says Krzysztof Majkowski. And it is hard to disagree. Almost 200 competitors from various construction companies, manufacturers, contractors and two‑wheel enthusiasts appeared on the route. The course featured almost 900 metres of elevation gain and demanded solid effort – but provided even more satisfaction from working together for a worthy cause. Helping really does build – a sense of community, solidarity and values that go far beyond sport. We are immensely proud that our employees not only represent us professionally every day, but also support important initiatives with such passion. Congratulations, Krzysztof – and see you at the start next year! 📸 More about the event and its purpose: pomaganiebuduje.pl/wyscig📊 Results: my.raceresult.com/326989/results #Everest5 #HelpingBuilds #CharityCycling #ConstructionIndustry #MajFamilyFoundation #ItPaysToHelp #CyclingWithAMission #CommonCause
Safety meets culture – we are commencing works at Kinoteka

We are pleased to share some important news – we have signed a contract for the modernisation and expansion of the fire alarm systems (FAS) and the voice alarm system (VAS), as well as the emergency lighting in Zone B of the Palace of Culture and Science – i.e., in the area where the well-known Kinoteka cinema, familiar to Warsaw residents, operates. The works will be carried out on an operating facility under the supervision of the Provincial Conservator. Ultimately, the modernised systems will be integrated with the building’s PSIM/SIUP platform. For over two decades, Kinoteka has been one of the most interesting points on Warsaw’s cultural map, combining historical interiors with an ambitious repertoire and film events. This is where the history of cinema meets its contemporary form – and we are adding our brick, introducing modern technological solutions integrated into the existing architecture, which will improve the safety and comfort of all users of the facility. This is already our third prestigious project in this part of the capital – from the completion of works at the Museum of Modern Art, through the ongoing modernisation of the Congress Hall, and now we are going a step further, taking full responsibility as the General Contractor for the contract. The largest contract in the history of Everest 5 in the defence sector! We have signed the largest contract in our history in the defence and critical infrastructure protection sector. The scope of work for Everest 5 will include comprehensive design and execution works, including documentation, supervision, as well as electrical and telecommunications installations at a key military site. Our scope of activities: We are carrying out the project based on international recommendations for aviation infrastructure – an advanced next-generation combat platform. #Everest5 #Defence #Security #SecuritySystems #Security #CriticalInfrastructure

The first Forbes Diamond in the history of Everest 5!

For the first time in our company’s history, we have won the prestigious Forbes Diamond award! Last week, our company’s President, Jacek Suchenek, received the statuette in the category of companies with revenues from PLN 5 to 50 million in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. This is a huge distinction for us, showing that the consistency, strategic decisions, and hard work of the entire team really do pay off. Anyone who has ever dreamed of climbing Everest knows that the path to the summit is not a sprint, but a demanding climb. You need strength, perseverance, and determination to overcome each stage step by step. We have been doing this for six years – we started as a small team, and today we are a 50-person company that is not afraid of ambitious challenges. Every day, we face difficult decisions; it is not always easy, but we know one thing – it is worth it. It is precisely this passion, energy, and commitment of the entire team that allow us to celebrate this success today. The Forbes Diamond is not only an award for us but also confirmation that we are on the right track. We are not slowing down – quite the opposite! We have new targets, upcoming projects, and higher peaks still to conquer. We would like to thank our employees, who prove every day that nothing is impossible. Special thanks our clients and business partners – together, we climb ever higher, and this success is also yours. #ForbesDiamonds #Everest5 #Forbes2025 #EV5
