Although Lublin Castle now serves as the seat of the Lublin Museum, several decades ago it functioned as a prison. Originally built in the 12th century, the castle has undergone numerous reconstructions and renovations over the centuries. A new exhibition is currently being developed within the castle, which will display around 360 archival objects.
Our contract covers the comprehensive execution of the exhibition, including the following works:
- delivery and installation of the permanent exhibition,
- delivery and installation of both permanent and mobile display cases,
- installation of audiovisual equipment, including exhibition projectors,
- delivery of a general and individual sound system,
- delivery of LCD monitors for presenting exhibition-related content,
- construction and finishing works.
The project is designed to fulfil the programme requirements while adhering to conservation guidelines, limiting intervention in the historic structure to the absolute minimum. No changes will be made to the exterior of the castle complex, and the interior design solutions will highlight the composition of the interiors without disrupting the view of the monument.
