In one of the complexes in Warsaw, the Everest5 team implemented modern smart parking technology, used daily by up to 2,000 users. A key achievement of this project was the application of automated algorithms integrating the reservation system, access control, and licence plate recognition (LPR).
The LPR system automatically reads vehicle registration plates, verifies them against booking data, opens the barrier, and assigns the driver an appropriate parking space. The main goal of the implementation was to maximise the use of available parking space. Thanks to automatic parking technology, drivers can hand over control of the vehicle to the system, which scans for free spaces, selects the optimal one, and precisely parks the car.
The solution is based on advanced sensors, cameras, and algorithms that analyse the space. These components jointly manage traffic, eliminating problems related to improper parking or lengthy searches for a space, ensuring efficient and convenient use of the car park.
