Since 2020, Everest 5 has been carrying out construction works related to the redevelopment of the Warszawa Zachodnia station, which is a key part of the ‘Works on the cross-city line in Warsaw on the section Warszawa Wschodnia–Warszawa Zachodnia’ project. We are also involved in the ‘Construction of the tram line to Wilanów’ project – the largest tram investment in Poland – aimed at connecting Wola, Ochota, Mokotów, and Wilanów.
As part of our operations at Warszawa Zachodnia station, we are installing advanced safety and communications systems. These include the Fire Alarm System (FAS), responsible for the early detection of fire hazards, and the Voice Alarm System (VAS), which enables effective evacuation in emergency situations. To enhance safety, we are also installing a Video Surveillance System (VSS) and a CCTV System to support the building’s fire protection measures. At the same time, we are installing the intrusion and hold-up alarm system (I&HAS) and the access control system (ACS), which secure access to individual areas of the station. The telecommunications installations are being implemented in the multifunctional building, station hall, tunnel, platforms, and under the canopy, ensuring full functionality throughout the facility.
Our work also includes activities within the ‘Construction of the tram line to Wilanów’ project. The Wilanów tram line is expected to significantly improve public transport in the future, offering a fast and environmentally friendly connection to the city centre.
These efforts aim to modernise Warsaw’s transport infrastructure, increasing comfort and safety for passengers while supporting the development of modern transport solutions in the capital.
